Shipping and delivery
How much does shipping cost?
Free from CHF 49 within Switzerland and from €79 to Germany and Austria. Below that, shipping is CHF 9 within Switzerland and €14.50 to Germany and Austria. The exact amount is shown at checkout before you pay.
How long does delivery take?
Every poster is printed to order, so allow a few working days for production plus transit. You receive a tracking link as soon as your parcel is handed over.
How are posters packaged?
Rolled in a rigid tube, not folded. The print arrives without creases and can be flattened under a book overnight if it still has any curl from the tube.
Returns and withdrawal
Can I return a poster?
Yes. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the goods, without giving reasons. The details and the model withdrawal form are on our right of withdrawal page.
Where do I send a return?
Nachtstyles, Espenstrasse 139, 9443 Widnau, Switzerland. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can log the return.
What if the poster arrives damaged?
Send us a photo at info@nachtklang.com and we will replace it. Transport damage is on us, not on you.
Sizes and framing
Which size should I choose?
We offer five sizes from S (longest side 23–32 cm) to 3XL (88–123 cm). Above a sofa, XL or 3XL is usually right; in a hallway, M or L. The full table with room recommendations is on our size guide.
Why do you state the longest side instead of exact centimetres?
Because the motifs have different proportions. Stating the longest side means a portrait and a landscape print in the same size class take up a comparable amount of wall. The exact dimensions appear on the product page once you select a size.
Do the posters come framed?
No, we ship prints without frames. That keeps shipping affordable and lets you match the frame to your room. Our framing guide covers which frame suits which motif.
Can I hang a poster without a frame?
Yes. Our paper is heavy enough (255 gsm or 229 gsm) to hang unframed without curling – with a poster hanger, clips or washi tape. See hanging posters without drilling.
Paper and printing
What paper do you print on?
Two options. Lustrous Metallic (255 gsm) is a heavy metallic paper with a pearlescent sheen that gives depth to photography. Matte (229 gsm) is a heavy paper with a reflection-free surface for lasting quality and timeless, detailed prints in museum quality.
What does the 200-year guarantee cover?
It refers explicitly to colour fastness – protection against colour fading. It is a voluntary guarantee we grant as the seller, in addition to your statutory rights and independently of any third-party claims. It does not cover mechanical damage, moisture or tearing. Are the motifs licensed?
Yes. Everything we print is either in the public domain or licensed for commercial use. Where the attribution was unclear we researched it and named the source – see our artist pages.
Order and payment
Which payment methods do you accept?
The methods shown at checkout, including the common credit cards and digital wallets. The full list appears before you confirm the order.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Write to us as soon as possible at info@nachtklang.com. As long as the print has not gone into production we can change or cancel it.
Do you print custom motifs?
Not currently. Our range consists of curated public-domain works and licensed photography.
