Library of Congress

The Library of Congress is the national library of the United States and one of the largest libraries in the world. It makes large parts of its holdings – photographs, posters, prints and maps – freely available online, including many works published without known copyright restrictions.

The original is a historical work whose copyright term has expired or which was published without known restrictions; the digitisation was made publicly available by the institution. We print it in a large-format gallery process with archival pigment inks on heavy premium paper – Lustrous Metallic (255 gsm) or Matte (229 gsm) – and give a 200-year guarantee against colour fading on every poster.
